This is the temporary home of the replacement website for Tilligerry Habitat Association whilst the site is under review as part of an overall online strategy refresh. The Centre continues to operate with volunteer effort at 2e King Albert Ave Tanilba Bay NSW 2319 Activity Centre, and can be contacted on (02) 4984 5677.

Online Strategy Overview

1. Domain Name:

Simplify domain name management to www.tilligerryhabitat.org.au as the main online brand, eliminate the hyphen and potential for confusion. (Done-points to this page for now).

2. Website:

Opt for a very simple tool that allows for ease of volunteer contributions. Trial Wordpress site set up at http://tilligerryhabitat.wordpress.com to give a feel for what is possible using freely available site publishing approaches. Provides a useful foundation for collaborative publishing within access controlled restrictions. Other tool options can also be considered. Initial mailbox setup is for 3 mailboxes: info@tilligeryhabitat.org.au, bookings@tilligerryhabitat.org.au and an administrator account.

3. Email/Online Applications:

Tool review phase is underway, GMail business services suite appears sensible/low cost if user accounts are kept low.

4. Longer term considerations:

Donation portlet |Photo collection | Art/craft shopping cart for sale of local craft efforts, or use of CafePress style store. Profile page for local characters (fauna) for either history, profiling or tracking/spotting purposes (which can be then tied to sponsor me/donate to preserve me page elements).
