Brian is an experienced consultant and versatilist with sound experience in business transformation activities, small and large technology implementations, change management, and embedding people focused approaches to the use of information technology. His areas of IT expertise span the development and control of Internet technologies (Intranet/ Internet development, content management, security needs analysis), ERP systems, and enterprise level knowledge management and service delivery systems. Brian has a strong focus on ensuring business needs are addressed with appropriate systems, ensuring IT is governed effectively, and supported by an enterprise knowledge management approach.

He is an experienced Human Factors professional, matching technology with people through usability analysis and interaction design, analysing technology training needs and ensuring systems match enterprise needs through the use of effective enterprise architectural principles. He has a passionate focus on developing and implementing solutions that honour the end user and provide them with a positive experience of technology. His background as a Human factors professional and educator has equipped him well for dealing with stakeholders at all levels, where clear communication is critical and solutions need to take account of the complexities of demanding work environments and flexible work patterns on human resources.

Brian's experience allows him to focus on understanding the complexities of business operations at a number of levels to work best within environments of complex demands. His approach to solutions considers the impact of business initiatives on increasingly complex intangibles such as brand reputation, social and environmental elements of business operations. He maintains a strong strategic focus on the junction between business / technology / people / environment and sustainability issues for enterprises.

Brian is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and member of a number of Associations, industry bodies and online fora, including:
