Australian Greenhouse Office submissions request for Greenhouse and Energy reporting
The AGO are taking submissions for Greenhouse and Energy reporting, submissions close 16 Nov 2007.
Greenhouse and Energy reporting is now becoming a legislative requirement for large emitters in Australia. The Australian Greenhouse Office advises that
"the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 establishes a single, national system for reporting greenhouse gas emissions, abatement actions, and energy consumption and production by corporations from 1 July 2008."
Discussion on the regulations has been invited via a submissions process, with consultation closing 16 November 2007.
